I’m seriously digging this Off Book series from PBS:
Whatever you’re doing, stop and watch this:
“To create the movie, scientists had to capture and control the atoms using an IBM-invented scanning tunneling microscope, which weighs two tons and operates at a temperature of -268 degrees Celsius—it also magnifies the atoms by 100 million times.”
“Rob Sheridan, the art director for Trent Reznor’s side project How To Destroy Angels, is up on stage, but he has no instrument. More accurately, he is playing an instrument, but it doesn’t play music — it plays light.” -via Wired
…we appreciate the fine arts…

The Atari Stacy: A blast from the past!
From the page: Today, Pantone, the global authority on color announced the addition of 336 new shades to the Pantone Plus Series, bringing the grand total to 1,677 colors. The inspiration came from the Pantone Goe System, which adds depth to the color library, and the new spectrum reflects this. The new tones enrich the Plus Series palette, by providing a wide variety of saturation and undertones – from pale pastels, mid-tones to rich deep hues, as well as, the essential neutral and bold bright tones.
